Description

The course is designed to teach you how to interpret, analyse and present data using modern computational tools (such as Excel and MATLAB). You will learn how to use these packages to write algorithms for data analysis allowing you to show trends and conclusions drawn from the data.  The course is taught through working on set examples that involve the analysing and processing of data in order to present the results with graphs and tables. This allows you to learn the software in a practical manner gaining familiarity and confidence to use in other areas of your undergraduate course (both lectures and practicals).
